Congratulations on becoming licensed! To upgrade your AIA membership from Associate to Architect, complete the Upgrade Form and send it to the Chapter along with a copy of your architect license. There will be no dues adjustment until your next annual invoice.
Upgrade - Architect to Emeritus
Emeritus membership is open to AIA Architect or Associate members whose membership has been in good standing for 15 successive years immediately prior to requesting Emeritus status and who are either at least 70 years of age and retired from the profession of architecture, or an occupation related to the profession of architecture, or are incapacitated and unable to work in the profession. Emeritus members are not required to fulfill the AIA/CES requirement to retain membership.
