New technology makes universal design strategies affordable amenities for custom single-family homes. Technology supports universal design to simplify daily tasks by making living spaces accessible to all people, regardless of age, size or ability. Adapting homes for aging in place has become truly affordable.
Richard Nordin of Access Lifts will offer design advice and tools to equip architects in the planning, specifying and installation of new technologies that support universal design as an inclusive solution for residential projects.
This continuing education seminar will enhance participants understanding of current practices and provide the opportunity to experience the new Miele showroom experiential center for residential clients.
